Trouble locates a jaguar.
The jaguar is awake.
"Hey, pretty kitty," he says softly. "Wanna come play?"
The jaguar slinks closer and sniffs him. He reaches out and touches—his, yes, this is a boy jaguar—his nose. The jaguar's eyes half-close and he lets Trouble pet him.
